The Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson Living Room is the heart of the alumni center, and is such a memorable one at that. This area features 20-foot ceilings that is filled with a multitude of comfortable seating that is an ideal place for spontaneous conversations and information exchanges. Within this living area there is also a 14-foot by 30-foot mural depicting UM imagery and a 1918 grand piano that adds to the ambiance of this area. With its high-end finishes, as well as beautiful views of the courtyard, that will make you feel truly special within this space.
For all types of grand celebrations, annual conventions, and any type of company-wide meetings are perfect for The Multi-Purpose Room. The Multi-Purpose Room, with its soaring 20-foot ceilings and views to the lush courtyard and gardens, is The Newman Alumni Center’s largest event space and offers an elegant venue for all and any larger gatherings. This room can be divided into two or three sections for maximum flexibility. This room also features superior acoustics and audio-visual capabilities pre-prepared for any type of event you choose to have there.
