You have always dreamed about your wedding day and where to celebrate your special moment. You spend these moments wondering what to have, but most importantly where to have it. Giving you the laid-back tranquil feel of the Keys, Morada Bay sets the romantic and relaxed scene for every event on your wedding itinerary, and rehearsal dinner to reception. With Morada Bay’s breathtaking location, unparalleled service and award-winning cuisine, your wedding will be everything you could every wish for.
On Morada Bay there is a two-story house with its exterior resembling the old colonial style homes. This colonial style building is known as Pierre’s Restaurant. Pierre’s Restaurant is a sparkling white two story house facing the Florida Bay. The downstairs features The Green Flash Lounge with its beautiful mahogany bar, leather chesterfield sofas, comfortable beige banquettes and rattan chairs. The lounge and the upstairs dining room feature dark planked wood floors, an eighteenth century arcade, natural textured walls, and smooth teak tables on kilim rugs. Each entryway is highlighted with a nineteenth century carved monastery door from India. With carved walls, Moroccan lamps, and banquettes covered with colorful pillows will create any romantic setting.
The Pierre’s Restaurant also has a V.I.P. room just for special events. This room would be your way to keep you and your party within your event private, as Pierre’s would remain open to the public for dinning. The VIP Room is private to you and your guests, and can accommodate up to 40 guests for dinner. Your ceremony will take place on our beautiful white sand beach with a view of the bay as your backdrop.
Walking out of the Pierre’s leads you straight to a private beach. This beach has two sections, one is known as Tiki Beach and the other is the Beach Cafe. The Beach Cafe is for receptions of 2 to 200 guests, the Café’s beach, bars, and restaurant may be made completely private for you and your guests. The beach can and is used for the wedding service, ceremony entertainment, and photography session. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served on the beach and in the bar, with your choice of entertainment. Your guests dine privately in the sand, and enjoy a plated or buffet dinner with live music. After dinner, your guests may relax on the beach and in the bar, and dance and party into the night. The Tiki Beach is similar to Beach Cafe, but more for smaller groups of 56 guests or less. The Tiki Beach is used for the blue water and sunset wedding service, ceremony entertainment, and photography session. Wedding guests will enjoy the same amenities at the Tiki Beach area with tropically colored tables, and with a thatched Tiki Bar overlooking the bay.
